Spring Clothes For Women

While it is cold and grey outside, why not brighten up your day by browsing the latest clothing trends for spring 2012? Whatever your taste and style there is something to suit everyone. Here are some of the themes from the London and New York Fashion Week.
This spring fashion will incorporate bright and bold colours. Colour blocking remains on trend as well as solid colour pieces such as a wrap dress or a suit for a simple yet elegant look.
The anorak is a staple of most women's wardrobes and will be seen throughout the high street this spring.
Where there are prints, expect them to be daring and bold! Camouflage prints will also be found on feminine pieces such as dresses and skirts.
Suits with shorts or cropped trousers are set to be popular and also offer a versatile wardrobe when worn separately.

Popular colours will be vibrant oranges and citrus hues or, at the other end of the scale, cool pastel shades. Metallic shades will also be seen everywhere from trousers to skirts and tops. Perfect if you want a head-turning look.
Dresses will have a 1920s feel with a dropped waist and, for a more hour-glass silhouette, look out for peplums -- a ruffle round the waist that adds a touch of femininity to tailored shirts and suits.
Whether you prefer a tailored look, casual clothing or feminine shades, the trends of spring and summer 2012 will incorporate all of these things. You will easily be able to create an outfit for work, shopping or partying that suits your shape and style.
With such a choice of bright patterns, bold prints and unusual cuts, you will need to choose your pieces carefully to ensure they complement one another. Styles such as the peplum and wide-leg palazzo pants are great for flattering the figure and hiding any unwanted lumps and bumps. If you are pear-shaped then stick to wearing bright colours on top. Similarly, if you have a top heavy figure then draw attention to your legs by wearing slim fitting trousers in a bold colour. These will be found everywhere on the high street in spring and look great with a pair of wedges to elongate your legs further.
